Substance Abuse Treatment Services

Assessment Center

Akeela center provides two intervention systems.

 

Alcohol Safety Action and Juvenile Alcohol Safety Action Programs (ASAP & JASAP) – The ASAP intervention program addresses driving offenses, including a mind changing substance. The program screens the guilty individuals and refers them to a suitable treatment program for an assessment with treatment to follow. If the assessment shows a need for treatment, then the individuals are assigned to an alcohol or driving training program.

 

Alcohol and Drug Information School – This certified program provides education to adults found to be driving while impaired or to minors involved in underage drinking. The programs spread awareness regarding drunk driving and its damages to prevent reoffending.
