Outpatient Treatment Services

Cornerstone outpatient services follow a systematic approach. Upon arrival, individuals are given brief orientation by a staff member and see a counselor. The counselor will discuss your issue in detail and your history of addiction. After the initial assessment, you will receive a treatment plan reflecting your personal needs. The treatment would be an individual, group, or based on family counseling, or some combination of the three.

For the intense level of service, the center offers Another Way which uses Matrix Model and counseling is available for a variety of subjects including marital and family problems, grief counseling, stress or job problems, relationship problems, and substance use disorders.

 

For persons under the age of 16, a legal guardian has to attend the first session and sign consent for treatment. The center has trained adolescent counselors and provides treatment geared to an adolescent’s necessities and encourage parental involvement with treatment.

 

Intensive Outpatient Services

Cornerstone provides IOP services for people who need more than a once-a-week group without the inpatient setting. The Intensive Outpatient Program is an evidence-based project, including group sessions on early recovery skills, relapse prevention, and family relationships, as well as one-on-one counseling sessions.
