Henrik Chefen Pryds, Copenhagen(Denmark), 61 Years Old, Was An Alcohol Addict
I’m out of a family of alcoholics so it easy for me to start at age 13
I felt better in the beginning, but After a couple of years I started to feel worse, but I was suffering from withdrawal, and therefore I’d tried to control it.
The first time was at age 30.
It was relatively easy, I joined AA and NA from day one, and it was common sense to me that I was an addict.I just followed the steps one day at a time. After almost ten years I had a relapse, an in a couple of months, it became ten times worse than before I stopped.I was using Coke and Vodka almost 24/7 and lost all I loved and cared for once more.I took me another ten years to find my way back. Now at age 61, I have been clean and sober 9,5 years for the second time.
I have serenity for the First time in my entire life.Honesty is essential for getting clean and sober.Once again – HONESTY
Never give up the dream. No matter how bad the situation looks, there will always be a tomorrow.Get clean and sober,- I promise you that we will love you for it.
