Saffron, USA, 34 Years Old, Was An Alcohol Addict
My addiction began at the age of 8 at junior school due to bullying. I started with self-harm and food as my addiction, and then it quickly went to Alcohol, Cannabis, Cocaine, and Crack.
It was so horrific, embarrassing, shameful, fearful, scary, blackouts, violence, arrests, car crashes, hospitals, lonely, isolated, homeless and wanting to die.
I started in 2018
Difficult, unattainable, frightening, emotional and constant.
Amazing! A new lease of life and new freedom, peace, serenity, and happiness!
However tough things get, remember it doesn’t have to be permanent. You can change it and make life what you want it to be, but you have to take a piece of humble pie and ask for the help, accept the help and learn to help yourself.
